Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

About Nuctech

We sell security inspection systems and solutions to the United Kingdom and provide related services. For details of our company's business structure and corporate social responsibility report, please refer to the company's latest social responsibility report.

Policy on slavery and human trafficking

We have a zero-tolerance policy for modern slavery, crime, and violations of fundamental human rights. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and are committed to creating a safe and happy workplace where our colleagues feel valued with equal opportunities.

About recruitment management

We do job posting based on the principle of non-discrimination. According to the Labor Law of the People’s Republic of China and related policies, we will not have any employment or cooperation relationship with domestic and foreign labor trafficking agencies, groups or individuals. If this happens, we will report to the local labor supervision department in accordance with the relevant laws, and we will also hold relevant personnel responsible for dereliction of duty. We will also further check and investigate the background of the candidates to minimize risks.

About the supply chain

We hope that all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners can adopt the same high standards as we do, to ensure that all employees and workers are respected in a fair and ethical environment to prevent modern slavery.

Our procurement process includes reviewing all potential suppliers, evaluating the annual performance of suppliers, categorizing supplier risk levels based on the evaluation results, and evaluating whether further control measures are needed. We want our suppliers to adopt the same principles when signing contracts with their own suppliers, and plan to make this a requirement.

We will further ensure that all suppliers understand and comply with the requirements of the Act and our policies by letting all suppliers sign a commitment or make a serious statement in the relevant agreement, and if necessary, we will even check whether they comply in a certain way with these principles and take corrective measures where appropriate.

About personnel training

To ensure a high level understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain and business, we have been providing training to our employees to encourage them to discover and report any potential problems. We collect and update the requirements of the "Modern Slavery Law" on the society and related companies on the British government website in a timely manner, and transmit to relevant business executive departments. We will conduct compliance evaluation of relevant laws and regulations to ensure that the requirements of the law are continuously met.

This statement is prepared in accordance with Article 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which constitutes our company Nuctech Company Limited and its registered Nuctech London Company Limited in the UK, as well as Nuctech Netherlands B.V. and Nuctech Warsaw Company Limited Sp. z o.o.’s Anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for fiscal year ending December 31, 2021. It sets out the measures taken by Nuctech to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of the supply chain or business, and the measures Nuctech intends to take in the future.
