Faculty and Students of Tsinghua University-Sponsored 2023 Nuclear Science Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students Visit Nuctech’s Miyun Base
The faculty and students from the Tsinghua University-sponsored 2023 Nuclear Science Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students recently visited Nuctech’s Miyun Base which featured industry-university-research cooperation. Around 60 faculty members and outstanding students majoring in nuclear science from Tsinghua University and other colleges participated in this event.
These visiting college students attended an informative lecture on nuclear science at Nuctech, covering Nuctech’s development history, applications of nuclear technology and achievements, etc. After the lecture, the faculty and students visited Nuctech’s exhibition hall, cargo/vehicle inspection system display area, and the intelligent production line of accelerators. This event has reinforced the interest of these outstanding college students in nuclear science, playing a positive role in promoting joint talent cultivation and cooperation between colleges and businesses.
