NCEPU Students Visit Nuctech for Educational Practice Activity

On April 22, 2026, 129 students and faculty members from the School of Nuclear Science and Engineering at North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) visited Nuctechs Miyun Industrial-Academic-Research Base for an off-campus educational practice activity for graduating undergraduates. The event included expert lectures, guided tours of exhibition halls and production lines, and interactive exchanges, helping students gain a closer look at cutting-edge nuclear technology applications and the companys innovation achievements.

Xu Yanwei, Deputy General Manager of Nuctechs High Energy Product Division and a Professor-level Senior Engineer, delivered a lecture titled Application of Nuclear Technology in Public Security.Drawing on nearly 20 years of industry experience, he shared insights into Nuctechs core technology R&D, key product portfolios, and industrialization outcomes. The lecture was followed by a lively Q&A session.

The delegation toured the cultural exhibition hall, new technology demonstration hall, accelerator exhibition area, vehicle-mounted mobile container inspection system, and CT production line. They gained a direct understanding of the companys development history, core component R&D, and complete equipment manufacturing processes.

Prof. Liu Fang, Vice Dean of the School of Nuclear Science and Engineering at NCEPU, expressed gratitude to Nuctech for its strong support and noted that the university will take this opportunity to deepen school-enterprise cooperation in cultivating interdisciplinary nuclear industry talents.
