In late recently, a delegation of 23 teachers and students from the 2025 Tsinghua University "Low-Carbon Green Energy" Summer School Program visited Nuctech's Miyun Base for industry-academia-research collaboration.
Vice President Ma Haitao, representing Nuctech, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and delivered a thematic report titled "Application of Nuclear Technology in the Field of Public Security." Mr. Ma provided an engaging overview of the company's development, technologies and products, market presence, and services, followed by an interactive exchange with the attendees. Subsequently, the visiting teachers and students toured the corporate culture exhibition hall, the new technological achievements exhibition hall, the accelerator exhibition area, the high-energy product line, and the smart inspection product line.
This activity event enhanced the delegation's understanding of Nuctech and played a positive role in further promoting talent exchange and cooperation between the company and academic institutions, as well as boosting the company's international image.
The "Low-Carbon Green Energy" Summer School Program was initiated on February 28, 2012, following the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation among Tsinghua University (Beijing), National Tsing Hua University (Hsinchu), and City University of Hong Kong by the Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University, the College of Science and Engineering of City University of Hong Kong, and the College of Nuclear Science of National Tsing Hua University. Jointly launched with China General Nuclear Power Group, the program aims to promote the collaborative development of nuclear disciplines across the mainland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, enhance public scientific understanding of nuclear safety and low-carbon value, build a platform for cultural exchange, cultivate talents with broad perspectives in the energy field, and further advance academic collaboration and talent cultivation between Tsinghua University and City University of Hong Kong in low-carbon energy and nuclear technology.
