Nuctech at the 6th Global AEO Conference
The 6th Global Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Conference, organized by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and co-hosted by the General Administration of Customs of China and the municipal government of Shenzhen, took place in Shenzhen from May 8 to 10. The event brought together more than 1,200 delegates from government agencies, international organizations, corporations, and academic institutions from more than 100 countries and regions to explore and discuss the theme of “Harnessing the Power of AEO Programmes for Inclusive and Sustainable Global Trade”.
 
On the first day of the conference, Ma Haitao, Vice President of Nuctech, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Next-Generation Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) 2.0 — Empowering AEO", in which Mr. Ma recalled the achievements and challenges of the AEO program ever since its inception. He also proposed that the next-generation non-intrusive inspection technology will effectively empower the AEO program by providing faster, accurate, automated, integrated, digital, and intelligent security inspection solutions. It will enhance the sense of fulfillment of the AEO corporate stakeholders and effectively balance the needs between supply chain security and customs clearance facilitation, empowering the AEO program to move towards a more inclusive and sustainable future. On the following day, Na Yujing from the International Solution Delivery Center of Nuctech was invited to the Customs Modernization panel and delivered a speech titled "Enhancing Trade Security and Facilitation", showcasing Nuctech's innovative and comprehensive solutions in the field of risk management and compliance management.
 
With promotional videos and models, Nuctech exhibited two sets of smart customs solutions, including passenger and cargo clearance solutions, as well as two models of the Stationary CT Baggage/Parcel Inspection System and the intelligent Railway Cargo/Vehicle Inspection System, demonstrating to visitors the latest products and solutions of Nuctech for smart customs clearance.
 
During the exhibition, representatives from the General Administration of Customs of China, Shenzhen Customs, Hong Kong Customs, Macao Customs and other organizations visited Nuctech's booth. Meanwhile, representatives from Cambodia Customs, Nigeria Customs, Zambia Customs and other agencies also visited the booth and had in-depth exchanges with Nuctech's team on the details of our smart customs solutions.
At this year's AEO conference, we not only exhibited our products and solutions, but also had more communication and interactions with our clients, paving the road for the further development of the customs businesses.
