To date 48 sets of the THSCAN^TM Container/Vehicle Inspection System have been put into operation by Chinese Customs. Through its use of THSCAN^TM inspection systems, by the end of 2003, Chinese Customs had intercepted and seized over 5,000 cases of attempted smuggling worth 0.9 billion RMB.

These systems not only speed up customs inspections but also attack illicit smuggling activities. THSCAN^TM systems play a significant role in the anti-smuggling fight. They make a valuable contribution towards protecting economic and social security.
