The 6th Global Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Conference, organized by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and co-hosted by the General Administration of Customs of China and the municipal government of Shenzhen, took place in Shenzhen from May 8 to 10. The event brought together more than 1,200 delegates from government agencies, international organizations, corporations, and academic institutions from more than 100 countries and regions to explore and discuss the theme of “Harnessing the Power of AEO Programmes for Inclusive and Sustainable Global Trade”.
On the first day of the conference, Ma Haitao, Vice President of Nuctech, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Next-Generation Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) 2.0 — Empowering AEO", in which Mr. Ma recalled the achievements and challenges of the AEO program ever since its inception. He also proposed that the next-generation non-intrusive inspection technology will effectively empower the AEO program by providing faster, accurate, automated, integrated, digital, and intelligent security inspection solutions. It will enhance the sense of fulfillment of the AEO corporate stakeholders and effectively balance the needs between supply chain security and customs clearance facilitation, empowering the AEO program to move towards a more inclusive and sustainable future. On the following day, Na Yujing from the International Solution Delivery Center of Nuctech was invited to the Customs Modernization panel and delivered a speech titled "Enhancing Trade Security and Facilitation", showcasing Nuctech's innovative and comprehensive solutions in the field of risk management and compliance management.
