Papua New Guinea Customs awarded a letter of commendation to Nuctech engineer Ren Zhaofeng

Since the Spring Festival of 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 pneumonia has been fierce. At the difficult moment of the global "Virus battle", Ren Zhaofeng, a Nuctech engineer in Papua New Guinea ended his vacation early, starting from home on the second day after the Spring Festival, he went back to Papua New Guinea quickly under the premise of ensuring his own safety, holding on his position and working with customers.

At the customs terminal in Papua New Guinea, the equipment failed on New Year’s Eve. After receiving the notification, the duty engineer drove from the station to the terminal to analyze and find the cause of the fault, and eliminate it in time, so that the equipment can resume normal operation and the goods can be quickly cleared.

Papua New Guinea’s National Customs Administration highly evaluated and awarded a letter of commendation to the Papua New Guinea maintenance team, represented by Ren Zhaofeng, to stick to their posts during the epidemic, take customer requirements as the first responsibility, and serve the security inspection equipment of the customs, civil aviation, logistics, terminals and other important place, ensuring the normal operation of business security inspection equipment in various industries in Papua New Guinea.

The Papua New Guinea maintenance team is just a microcosm of Nuctechers sticking to the front line to fighting against the pandemic. There are more Nuctechers who have contributed their strengths in this pandemic and are doing extraordinary things in ordinary positions. They put the perseverance and responsibility on the shoulders, fulfilling Nuctech's promise of "Creating a safer world".
