Nuctech’s TR series of Trace Detectors, a Worldwide Big Hit Based on Independent Research and Development, Passes the Standard Test of the European Civil Aviation Conference
Recently, Nuctech® TR2000DC non-radioactive desktop explosives trace detector with a new version of bionic sampling device has officially passed the standards of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) and the French Civil Aviation Technical Centre (STAC) for trace detection equipment for cargo and passengers, and has obtained the STAC certification for the equipment of the same category, making it the only explosives trace detection product in China that meets the ECAC standard while being deployed in the screening of passengers and cargo in global civil aviation.
Based on the ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) and non-radioactive ionization source (NRIS) independently developed by Nuctech, the detection accuracy of a TR2000DC detector is more than 10 times that of a device powered by traditional radioactive technology, and it can alarm within 3-5 seconds by running intelligent algorithms. By sampling through the sampler, the detector avoids direct contact between security inspectors and passengers and their baggage, effectively improving the efficiency of security inspection and the experience of passengers in security check.
Nuctech® TR2000DC detector has passed the standard tests of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), obtained the industry standard certification (GA/T-841) from the Ministry of Public Security of China and the EU’s CE certification. This detector is especially suitable for deployment in civil aviation, customs, rail transit, postal logistics, public security organs, procuratorial organs, courts, judicial administrative organs as well as other application scenarios, and it has been deployed in many civil aviation airports around the world.
