NUCTECH’s High-Purity Germanium Detector Is Exhibited at SORMA in the US.
From June 11 to 14, 2018, NUCTECH's high-purity germanium detector with the independent intellectual property was exhibited at the Symposium on Radiation Measurements and Applications (SORMA), the first time for the detector to be exhibited outside China.
This Symposium, initiated by the University of Michigan in 1964, has been held for 17 consecutive years. The Symposium invites experts and scholars who study the ionizing radiation measurement related to detectors, radiation sources, energy spectrum, signal processing, facilities to conduct academic discussions on advanced technological applications and new research results such as dosimetry, environmental measurement and non-destructive testing. The Symposium is very influential academically in the world. The high-purity germanium detector developed by NUCTECH attracted the attention of many experts and scholars who expressed admiration.
The Symposium has fully demonstrated the technical strength of NUCTECH's products, and has far-reaching significance to improving the influence of NUCTECH in the application of academic studies on nuclear measurement.
