From 8th to 11st, April, 2018, Boao, China, drew the world’s attention, over 2,000 honored guests including the Presidents and Prime Ministers of other countries gathered together to hear the China voice. The theme of 2018 BFA was “An Open and Innovative Asia, for a World of Greater Prosperity”. President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered the keynote speech. For the 7th time, being the general contractor of security systems and solutions, Nuctech became the guard keeper of this grand international gathering, and witnessed this glory moment.
The standard, scale, and security standard of the forum all reached a new high this time. There were four security inspection areas for the Forum: Boao, Haikou, Sanya, and Guantang. Nuctech provided an intelligent security solution to the Forum, and over 500 sets of security inspection systems were deployed to tens of checkpoints to form several secure bases and build a security network. Human body, baggage, liquid, explosives, and narcotics were all target objects to inspect and the solution included desktop explosives/narcotics trace detectors, x-ray inspection systems, liquid inspection systems, and other inspection systems. It was the first time for the dual view x-ray inspection system to appear in front of the public, and the presence of the system had enormously enhanced the accuracy of the security inspection of the Forum.
The team was experienced in security work of big events. To catch up the timeline of the Forum, the project team worked all night long and completed the installation and debugging of more than 500 sets of inspection systems. Besides, the project managers and engineers watched the site over all through the Forum in case of need. The temperature of Boao dropped on 8th, April, and it was a rainy day, the engineers stood-by immediately started the emergency plan to adjust the systems, and to maintain the order.
Nuctech contributed to the holding of this international Forum again and won praise from the customer with its outstanding system performance, exquisite technology and good service.
