Chairman Chen Zhiqiang meets with President Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia

In March 2017, Chen Zhiqiang the Chairman of Nuctech visited Serbia, and met with President (then-Prime Minister) Aleksandar Vucic, Vice Premier and Minister of Interior Stefanovic, and the Deputy Director of General Administration of Customs of Serbia.

 

On March 14, Dr. Chen met with President Vucic of Serbia at the Serbian government house. Before the meeting, Dr. Chen introduced and demonstrated two of Nuctech’s new products-explosives and contrabands trace detector and handheld backscatter inspector to President Vucic who then praised that, “these are really amazing products and indeed what we need. Nuctech bring me a pleasant surprise. ”

 

During the meeting, the two sides changed ideas on the terrorism situation Europe is facing, talked about how to increase security of border and key facilities across Serbia, and came to an agreement that we both should deepen our comprehensive cooperation and make joint efforts to promote our relations to a new height.

 

President Vucic said Nuctech was a Chinese high tech firm and had a long-term cooperative relationship with Serbia. Nuctech has made outstanding contribution to the Serbian customs on cracking down smuggling and weapon trafficking and this has strengthened the confidence of Serbian government to continue the cooperation with Nuctech.

 

Dr. Chen said that being a leader in security industry, Nuctech is willing to strengthen the cooperation with Serbian government-especially in the face of new situation on anti-terrorism, to further promote the modernization construction of Serbia on border, customs, and airports. Nuctech looks forward to new cooperation between the two countries on security in the future.

 

During the meeting with Vice Premier and Minister of Interior Stefanovic of Serbia, Chairman Chen introduced the performances and future plan of Nuctech in the industry in detail. Interior Minister Stefanovic appreciated the achievements of Nuctech, and said Nuctech’s machines in government house has become a powerful tool in keeping leaders of various countries safe in their trips to Serbia. Interior Minister Stefanovic showed Serbian government’s concerning on anti-terrorism by high tech products, and also the interest in co-building a national security control center.

 

On March 13, Chairman Chen and his party met with the Deputy Director of General Administration of Customs of Serbia. The Deputy Director said the Serbian customs now has 11 Cargo/Vehicle Inspection Systems from Nuctech and was very satisfied with the machines as well as the services. He also expressed the Serbian customs’ will of deepen the cooperation with Nuctech.
