The 2016 G20 Summit was held in Hangzhou from September 4th to 5th. At President Xi Jinping’s invitation, leaders from G20 members, guest countries and international organizations attended the Summit.
As the general security equipment contractor of the Summit, Nuctech provided over 6,200 sets of security products and 150 operators to the high-risk check-points including the main venues, hotels of G20 and B20, the logistics base, and the security station of Zhejiang province. The Mobile Cargo/Vehicle Inspection System, Portable Trace Explosives and Narcotics Detectors, and Liquid Inspection System were all included. For the first time, the X-Ray Dual Energy and CT Baggage/Parcel Inspection System were used on a large scale.
Professionals were invited by Nuctech to train the operators, the public security principals, and students of police academies from all parts of the nation in terms of rationale understanding, basic operating, and figure reading before the Summit.
To ensure the security of the Summit, Nuctech adopted a new working mode that helped to form a security system of high quality and efficiency, and earned recognition from the customer. Besides, 300 experienced engineers were sent to debug all the machines, and they were 24 hours available in case of any emergency.
