Before the May Day of 2016, China’s Embassy in Tanzania held the “Excellent Staffs of Chinese Enterprises Awards Ceremony” aiming at honoring the Chinese enterprises’ staffs making outstanding contribution to China-Tanzania friendship and economic development and cooperation. Together with the 200 staffs of honor, the Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania Lv Youqing, Minister Counselor Gou Haodong, Commercial Counselor Lin Zhiyong and other major leaders of the Embassy of China in Tanzania attended the ceremony with the governor of Dar es Salaam Province, the Tanzania Department of Labor, the Tanzania National Employers’ Association, the Tanzania Trade Union Federation, and Tanzania-China Friendship Association.
The ceremony was reported by many Tanzania media, 42 Tanzanian and 14 Chinese staffs were awarded. Gao Liang the Nuctech engineer recommended by the Nuctech Africa Centre was awarded for his dedication to the work, and had a picture took with Ambassador Lv Youqing the presenter.
