The 7th Summit of the Americas was held in Panama City from April 11 to 12, with more than 30 heads of governments and officials of international organizations attended, including US President Obama.
As the host, Panama put the security of the Summit as the top priority. Over 5000 policemen were involved in security job, over 1000 policemen were anti-terrorism trained, and the machines of Nuctech-Panama were equipped with in Presidential Palace, the main meeting hall and session venues, and five–star hotels related as well.
As the provider, Nuctech-Panama was highly appreciated by the host with its advanced technology, nice performance, and good service. More than 40 sets of equipment were provided during the Summit, in which the Mobile Inspection System accompanied the Panama Presidential Guard for emergency respond around the Panama City. “We have satisfied with the capability and service of Chinese enterprises. We found they are competitive after giving assessments to their resource capacity. We would like to work together with Chinese enterprise to provide the best service to the Summit” Eduardo, the captain of the Panama Presidential Guard told Xinhua.
It is the second time for Nuctech to deal with security work in the America after the 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup. Under the pressure of limited time, heavy load, and difficulties, Nuctech once again undertook a mission at a critical moment, and got the task perfectly done, which had again demonstrated the strength and courage of the Chinese high-tech companies.
