NUCTECH Was Invited to the Second EASA-CAAC Aviation Safety Conference

The civil aviation delegation of China, led by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), attended the second EASA-CAAC Aviation Safety Conference held in Madrid, Spain, from October 29 to 31, 2018. NUCTECH was invited to the Conference as the only security inspection equipment manufacturer representing the industry. Peng Hua, Vice President of NUCTECH, delivered a keynote speech.

The Conference focused on further deepening China-EU civil aviation cooperation and promoting the development of China-EU aviation safety. It is of great significance in enhancing a new type of cooperative partnership between China and Europe in civil aviation.

A workshop on the civil aviation safety and security was held during the Conference for the first time. In his keynote speech, NUCTECH’s Vice President Peng Hua made a brief introduction to NUCTECH’s business in the EU, and expressed gratitude to the EU for its fair and open attitude and to airport clients for their support. From the perspective of a manufacturer, Peng Hua shared with the audience the good experience of the Chinese civil aviation industry in managing the entire lifecycle of security inspection equipment. His speech focused on NUCTECH’s integrated security inspection solutions and the achievements and progress made by NUCTECH in the research and development of artificial intelligence. NUCTECH has been conducting the R&D in AI based on various types of security inspection equipment, and remarkable progress has been made. In his speech, Peng Hua expressed gratitude to the Conference for providing a communication platform and communicated NUCTECH’s aspiration to work with all parties to make aviation safer. The speech was well received by the audience.
