NUCTECH Attends the Private Sector Engagement Conference (PSEC) 2018 Hosted by the World Customs Organization Asia/Pacific
On May 14th, 2018, NUCTECH attended the Private Sector Engagement Conference (PSEC) held by the World Customs Organization Asia/Pacific Vice Chair Secretariat in Nadi, Fiji. At the Conference, over 200 delegates from more than 30 countries representing Customs and the private sector, had in-depth discussions with the theme “Border Management Solutions - the Way Forward”.
NUCTECH was invited to attend the Conference as a bronze sponsor and the only exhibitor to build a booth at the Conference to showcase its products. In order to make better use of the platform, through constant communication with the organizer, NUCTECH held a seminar with the theme “Total Solution for Smart Customs” during the Conference. The seminar was attended by Mr. Visvanath Das, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FRCA) and Vice Chair of the WCO Asia/Pacific, Commissioner of Nadi Customs of Fiji, Minister of Revenue & Customs of Tonga, Minister of the Vanuatu Customs and Inland Revenue and other personages. At the seminar, NUCTECH made a comprehensive introduction to the its Smart Customs solutions based on the integrated smart customs solution and existing cases, and had in-depth exchanges and discussions with customers.
During the Conference, NUCTECH presented participants with its advanced security inspection equipment and customs security solutions, and the presentation was well received.
The Conference further enhanced NUCTECH’s relations with the Customs in the Asia Pacific region and strengthened the company’s influence in the region.
