On May 10, 2018, the Hamilton Customs of Bermuda awarded a medal to Feng Jie, a NUCTECH engineer based in Bermuda. Lucinda Pearman, the Collector of Customs, presented the medal to Feng Jie and wrote Feng a letter of appreciation to express her appreciation to Feng for his equipment maintenance services to Hamilton Customs in the past seven years - “Your vast knowledge, over the past 7 years, has served the department immensely with our mandate of interdicting illicit and prohibited contraband and goods at our Hamilton Docks."
It is worth mentioning that Feng Jie is the first Chinese citizen that has been awarded this medal by Bermuda Customs.
