Tsinghua University-Nuctech Off-Campus Training Base pass the Expert Review of the Ministry of Education
On 7th, Dec, 2017, the Tsinghua University-Nuctech Off-Campus Training Base passed the expert review of the Ministry of Education. The expert review panel made up by Guo Wei the Chancellor of the City University of Hong Kong and Chen Jianxin the director of the teaching quality monitor & evaluation center of Fudan University. Kang Kejun the ex-vice-president, Wang Xuewu the department head of the engineering physics school, and Tang Chuanxiang the director of the teaching committee of Tsinghua University accompanied the panel. Chen Wei the vice president of Nuctech chaired the reception work.
Approved by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, Nuctech has become the Off-Campus Training Base since the 5th, Sep, 2012. So far, Nuctech has received over 1137 person times of summer interns, summer campus of nuclear science, and other professional investigation of Tsinghua University, and been crucial in the fostering of nuclear professionals of engineering physics school of the university.
Kang Kejun the vice president of the university introduced the purpose of establishing the training base and Wang Xuewu the director also stressed the importance of turning research results into products. Sun Lijin the principal of the base and the manager assistant of the company introduced the base in terms of the general situation, the training mode, and the implementation of the training works.
Accompanied by Chen Wei the vice president of the company, the panel visited the exhibition hall and production plant of the base, and Chen Wei introduced several kinds of inspection systems to the panel during the visit.
At last, Guo Wei the Chancellor of the City University of Hong Kong made comments on the training mode of the base, and hope to have the S&T workers from Hong Kong come to the base for visit and academic communication. Director Chen Jianxin pointed out that establishment of such a training base for nuclear science was not an easy task considering the particularity of the subject.
Nuctech will continue to undertake its social responsibility and fight for the development of talents training and achievements transforming of nuclear science.
